In the article "Women in Politics", Wicks and Lang-Dion indicate that Women in Canada are stilling looking for their equal voice. The authors use  rhetorical strategies logos and ethos to strength their opinion and attract readers. For example, authors use ethos in eighth paragraph. Wicks and Lang-Dion quote Kim Campbell's suggestions to let readers know how women can win their equal rights and become certain roles. Kim is a public figure. Using her words is beneficial to make readers be convinced of content in this article. In addition, the rhetorical appeal logos are often used in this article. In thirteenth paragraph, Wicks and Lang-Dion demonstrate the causal relationship between the PR system and its good effect. This system "affects the behavior of the political parties in term of who they choose to represent them in the electoral process", so "this system can provide more opportunities to female candidates." The logos here show readers why this structure is good for females' equality.
Question: Kim Campbell said  females do not have chances to do some positions of leadership because" it is unusual for then to be in those roles." Do you think this opinion is right? Why women never do some positions? No chances? Or no abilities of these careers.
